# What You'll Need:
→ Fruit
01 - 20 large fresh strawberries, washed and thoroughly dried, leaves intact
→ Chocolate
02 - 7 oz high-quality dark chocolate (70% cocoa), chopped
→ Optional Toppings
03 - 2 tbsp chopped toasted nuts (pistachios, almonds, or hazelnuts)
04 - 2 tbsp melted white chocolate for drizzling
05 - 2 tbsp sprinkles or edible glitter
# Directions:
01 - Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to ready it for the dipped strawberries.
02 - Place chopped dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl and melt over simmering water using a double boiler method, stirring until smooth. Alternatively, melt in 20-second microwave intervals, stirring between each.
03 - Hold each strawberry by its leaves and dip into the melted chocolate, twisting to evenly coat the surface.
04 - Allow excess chocolate to drip off before placing the strawberry onto the lined baking sheet.
05 - Immediately sprinkle with chopped nuts or sprinkles if desired. For white chocolate drizzle, wait until the dark chocolate has fully set, then drizzle melted white chocolate using a fork or piping bag.
06 - Continue dipping and decorating each strawberry until all are coated.
07 - Let the chocolate set at room temperature for approximately 30 minutes, or refrigerate briefly to speed the process.
08 - Present the chilled or room temperature chocolate-covered strawberries for immediate enjoyment.
